flipnote memo wiiU?

I was thinking, memo was supposed to come out a long time ago but maybe it was postponed for a universal release on wiiu and 3ds. Nintendo still hasn't said anything about it being canceled so maybe it's not and this is the reason? Also i heard some people from hatena were working on the miiverse so that could be a reason too. What do you guys think?

Could be in dev. limbo just like the Vitality Sensor.

I honestly think at this point theirs no hope for a Flipnote 3D or Wii U

the Swapnote service isn't as grand, but I think that's what nintendo wanted.
A easy handwritten note system, that a child can use.

There's really no need for it anyway there's already a solid messaging system for it with Miiverse including the Wii U Chat.

Well flipnote studio is nothing like swapnote. Its an app to create animations, while swapnote is a messaging system. I actually sold my dsi because nintendo said that flipnote memo was coming to 3DS. I don't think it should be legal for people to lie blatantly like that. now i'm gonna have to buy a new dsi? -.- (Yes i like flipnote studio A LOT, i like to draw and i had the most fun making animations and seeing the community's reactions to my creations) They could at least tell us if its been canceled.
