I also didn't like the dodge mechanic, acting was hit and miss, graphics were great though.

It's a good game, but has a lot of things I didn't like. Hated the first person scanning scenes, and to me it didn't feel like there was enough exploration.

I didn't like the authorization aspect either. Actually acquiring the weapon felt rewarding.

I was lucky enough to find a copy at GameStop in like-new condition for $53 with a power-up pro membership. That's not a bad deal at all (considering how much it costs online for a battered copy), but it's very rare to find it in a place like GameStop.

Excellent game, very moody and atmospheric. I enjoyed it. In fact, I played through it 4 times in 6 months, and several more times in the past 2 years. It's just a fun game to pick up and play.

I agree with that, actually, despite having only played it once. It's much more pick-up-and-play friendly than the Prime games, that's for sure.

I've only just gotten to the last temple in Echoes. I hope Prime 3 holds up well, Echoes isn't exactly as exciting to play as the first.
