Scotland game stores SUCK!

Just got a phone call, stating that my Wii U would not be available at the store in which i had preordered it, not because of low stock, but because of a shipping error on their behalf, my Wii U was sent to the other side of the damn country

So now i'm just going to jump down to Asda (our version of walmart) and hope they have a deluxe package

Damn that sucks dude :/ You know stuff like this is what kinda ruins Nintendo's rep as well. The first thing someone says when they can't get their product is "Ugh, stupid Nintendo" when it's really the store's fault. You get a refund of any sort or something?

How on earth can you mess up an order like that? =_=

I have no idea how they messed it up, probably all orders are sent to a main database and then someone fills out the dispatch forms from there.

Lucky i was paying for it when i went to get it, so only a small deposit was made to them, which i have gotten back now.

Also, the store in which i'll be going to tomorrow (finally its only 1 day away... will be the longest day EVER!) it wasn't taking pre-orders, so i'm going down today to make sure they have them in stock. And also checking the other 2 stores close by the wasn't doing pre orders

I really can't, its 1:46pm (at the time of writing this) so under 24 hours, i've been awake since 8am and its been the longest damn 6 hours ever!

£300 (thats pounds ) in my wallet, with only 18 hours to go. Don't know if i'll get the deluxe or the basic bundle, i have a spare external HDD that i don't use and will most likely not be downloading massive games anyway.

Decisions need to be made!

If you can get the Deluxe obviously lol. If your HDD has a lot of memory you should be set this gen especially if you're going to be getting physical copies of your games.

No Wii U for me today, but it's not all bad news.

One of the stores i went to, the women behind the counter was very professional and checked for stock and when it'll be available, there was no date on when the store would have them in... BUT, i'm getting my Shiny new Wii U delivered direct to me in 2 days monday the 3rd

I've waited so long for the Wii U, so another 2 days isn't going to kill me

Yea, i was watching the midnight launch earlier and the people where pushing almost everyone out of their way just to be able to get to the cashier to get their Wii U, was crazy.

I'm a very patient person, Assassin's Creed 3 multiplayer is great if you're patient XD

I wonder why they would really have ONE person sign dispatch orders for such a big launch.

I don't know really.

All i do know is that they send all their pre orders to a central area, which then sends out all the orders to the stores.

It's not the first time this store/brand/franchise has done it, during the original DS launch, some of their stores where left with no deliveries and some other stores got them sent to them instead.
