What do you like about steam? (no pc fanboy junk)

I guess since I'm the only big PC gamer as of right now.... I will go ahead and start this topic cuz i can lol.

I like steam mainly because of the deals.

I like the accessability and deals.

Better deals. I'd rather buy my PC Games on steam than having to drive somewhere to pick them up.

Oh and you're not the only Big pc gamer in here.

That is why I said as of right now lol. However I have 101 pc games though and only been pc gaming for almost 11 months now lol

Huge selection of games and awesome deals, the same reason everyone else should like it.

I LOVE steam. Such a great service. Deals that will blow your mind for AAA titles. It allows a gamer under a tight budget to still enjoy his/her hobby.

Also the Steam community has a lot of mods which I love. I have TONS of them for Skyrim. I still prefer owning physical copies over digital, for a lot of reasons, but I still get a fair few from steam. Obviously for games coming from Valve, that just goes without saying.

Soon they will be offering softwares as well. Expensive ones, likely at a much lower cost. Like Adobe Photoshop and other creative softwares. That is just pure win.

It does get annoying that not everything is supported by the cloud save feature. I hate losing my Deus Ex saves.

I don't mind it not having SAVE states

but saving your games to your account in the cloud is what I like.

I'm pretty sure even all the way back when steam had its old green and grey GUI, games were tied to accounts and you could download them from anywhere. I don't think that's part of steam cloud.
